Nick will be presenting and taking Q&As about GB’s Davis Cup successes and the importance of Club Tennis grass roots and the journey to progress up the ladder to succeed at the highest levels in tennis.

Nick was an inspiring & valued member of Sutton Tennis & Squash Club’s National Men’s Tennis Team over several seasons, in fact hitting the winning shot the first time STSC won the National Team Tennis championships in 2008 against Bromley, partnering Wayne Black.
He was a professional player from 1992-1998, achieving a career high world singles ranking of 290 and played main draw at Wimbledon in ’97 and ’98. He also won 40 British Tour titles.
His coaching Career has included being Head of Men’s Tennis at Sutton Tennis Academy, building up the largest full-time academy programme in the UK from scratch and coaching numerous world ranked senior players.
He joined the LTA as Men’s Tennis Coach in 2008, working with senior players, including James Ward, Dan Evans, Cam Norrie, Jamie Baker, Dom Inglot, Alex Bogdanovic, Josh Goodall, Alex Slabinsky and Dan Cox.
In 2010 he became Davis Cup Coach under captain Leon Smith, working with players including Andy Murray, Jamie Murray, Kyle Edmund as well as many of the above and was involved in Great Britain’s historic Davis Cup win in 2015.
Nick is also currently Senior National Coach for Men’s Tennis working with GB elite senior and junior players from age 14 upwards
